Decorating your magic band

So I've been working on decorating my Magic Band (which thus far has not been going as I had wished, but moving on). When it comes to sealing the Magic Band I've heard that most people use a nail polish top coat. I have a spray acrylic sealer/finisher spray which I purchased for sealing other craft projects. Thoughts on whether or not that would work in place of nail polish top coat? I used acrylic craft paint on the magic band.

Just to share, here's where I am mid project. Still going to put some glitter on the Micky head.

I sealed it with a clear coat of Insta-Dri nail polish, but only because that's what I happen to have on hand. I would think a spray acrylic would work wonderfully, possibly with less chance of dripping, cracking, etc.

I think you'll get lots of compliments on your band, btw! It's wonderfully festive.

An ugly Christmas sweater magic band!! What a cute idea . I'm sure you'll get lots of compliments on yours as well.

OP, I intended to acrylic spray mine too, but my can was old and I was afraid to risk it. I used polish instead (just because I already had it..$$) and it does tend to crack. I think the spray will be fine.
