Decorating window in POR

Hi, I've received some mixed reports so please respond, is it ok to decorate windows in POR? And if so, can I use scotch tape to put things up?

I don't know about using tape, but we decorated the windows and some of the mirrors in the room with window decals for Halloween. Stayed at POR-Riverside. It looked awesome

My understanding is that tape is a no-no as it can leave residue on the window. If you want to decorate, either just place things on the ledge of the window or use some window clings on the glass.

I laminated two 8 1/2 by 11 signs that I made on my computer. Punched holes in the top corners and hung them in our windows from small suction cups from the craft store.

window clings....lots of suction cups from the dollar store to hang lights...etc. I put door decorations out with magnets glued to the backside. Worked fabulously.

Decorating? Think you should cover the window with aluminum foil.

Command hangs and strips work wonderfully. They are the ones that you can remove without it leaving any residue. You can find them at Walmart, Kmart, Walgreens, etc.
