I read an older post that was closed, but couldn't come up with a definite answer. Anyone know the current policy, is it ok to decorate your resort window as long as you completely clean up after yourself? I've heard they have charged people, even if it was cleaned up.

We'd love to add a cutout tree on our window to enjoy for our Dec.'09 trip.

Thanks!

I decorated my windows is both May and November, and I was not charged nor threatened with being charged. I did use window clings and suction cups for the majority of my decorations. A few tiny tiny pieces of scotch tape that we cleaned off before leaving as well.

We just got back from Christmas and we decorated and had no issues. We've done it plenty of times before and never been charged or been threatened with being charged. The only time I heard someone having a problem is when they used some type of window marker or something like along those lines. We put up lights, garland, gel clings and other stuff and had no problems at all.

Wonderful! Thanks for replying. We plan to use window clings and hang up some cutouts w/ tape. We obv wouldn't over do it with the tape and will make sure it's all taken down. Thanks, very excited!

We were there in late October/early November and decorated our window at the Pop with no issues. This was after I had read numerous posts about being unable to decorate windows anymore. I saw other windows decorated as well. I guess that it is not always an issue.

We stayed at the ASSports in July and were asked to take down all of our decorations. The resort was full of groups of kids that had done lots of decorating and they were all asked to take them down. When we checked in we saw lots of decorating, but by the end of the week none. I think it depends on what you do (use suction cups, magnets, and no markers, not even chalk ones) and who the manager is (luck of the draw).

We've never had a problem decorating our resort window. We mostly use window clings, but we have strung up lights as well. We just make sure we remove the tape. We also had a small tree in our room. We were not charged.

We were there last February for a competition and most of the windows in our area at ASMusic were decorated. However, because of the humidity, some things did not work eg. sticky tack, and tape. Suction cups actually worked best. We also put things along the very wide window ledge.
