decorating question kitchen hardware

We used the same knobs for doors and drawers - looks fine. There are some very good on-line sources for kitchen hardware if you're looking for more variety than you see at your local stores - google gets you a lot of results.
What kind of shape are the hinges in?? IMHO it's worth it to change them to the same finish as the knobs or get rid of them if they're tarnished, even tho it's work and $$.
Don't think I've ever seen door pulls in the middle of a door - that's funky!

Oh man...can you come to my house when you're done with your kitchen?? I hate my very dark cabinets, but there is just no way I'm going to paint them. I'll be happy with just new hardware. Good for you!!!

thanks it will be a while before I get the pictures done. We move in in 2 weeks so we will be a while yet before we get stuff done.
