This will be our 1st visit to Disney and I want to surprise my family by decorating the motorhome. Would love to hear what you have done to make the trip special.

You can visit Home Depot paint area and grab some Disney Paint samples (mouse ear shaped), trim off backing and "polka dot" your MH...

A lot of people from this forum decorate with the disboards green ears

We did this to our pop up (you can click on the thumbnails to view a bigger image):

Nothing fancy but we thought it was cute!

I went over the top on decorating my camper Disney style:

Our local dollar store sometimes will have window clings - I decorated each of the kids' bunk's windows with their favorite characters. I looked on ebay and found some strings of Mickey head patio lights for our awning but you could hang them anywhere - I found some for only $10. This year I've been collecting little dollar trinkets from the dollar store, Michael's & Target for Tinkerbell Gifts - read where some people on the DIS left little gifts to occupy their kids (sand toys, activity books, toys, flashlights) every morning - since we are camping and planning lots of down time I think this will work well for us.

For the outside of our camper we have the Mickey head light (a little bit of work and probably $75-$100 in supplies) (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=865702) and the metal Mickey head made with rope lights (not much effort and around $20 in supplies) (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2336012) plus the strings of patio lights I mentioned above. Since we plan to decorate for Christmas I bought a bunch of lighted yard steaks on clearance after the holiday this year.

A neat surprise I sometimes do while camping is buy party plates with characters on them – just something special to surprise them every once in a while.

Visit the creative designs thread and request a personalized design to make pillow cases for every one on the trip.

My wife made smallish quilts that Disney themed , one girl and one boy and they are there travel blankets. We bought the Disney blow up matress' and we too have the Mickey string of lights!

I think, when considering Disney decorations per square inch of available decorating space, you would be hard pressed to beat Carol's Mouseketab.
