I believe there are 3 ways to do the lights, but depends on how much work you want to do. The first is the easiest and the method I plan on using this trip. You can buy sets that run on batteries. I tape the strand to the inside of my windshield and just flick the switch when we're out. They even sell them at Big Lots! The second one involves tapping into the battery that operates the cart. My husband (who is an electrical engineer) made a set for me like this, but we don't plan on utilizing these during our next trip because our girls will be driving the cart most of the time and the battery operated ones are easier for them to remember. The last method I have only seen on carts that are owned by the individuals that are driving them. I have seen them with separate batteries and all kinds of gadgets to run their lights, horns, music .... you name it! Very impressive, but just too much work for me. I am sure that others on the board will have some additional light tips for you. Good luck and have fun with it!
