So, at the end of today's episode in the US, Dumas decided to reveal himself and he told his assistant to call "her", that he needed "her". If this turns out to be Cane, without his famous Australian accent, and he's doing this in conjunction with Jill, I'm going to be so mad at her! She always took his side against Billy, her own flesh and blood, and I could never stand that!

It is Cane and no he now doesn't have an Australian accent. I hope the writers put something in the storyline to explain that but it seems like Lily's been in touch with Cane over the years regarding the kids but didn't want anything else to do with him. Cane/Dumas had Amanda bring Lily to meet him in an area of the maze alone before meeting the rest of the group at the spot with the food and drink. And of course Victor sat on the bench and said he knew Dumas was Cane. OK, yeah sure ...

Months of build up and it’s exactly what I guessed. I was really hoping to be wrong and it was going to be Dru. I hope it shakes things up a bit and will somehow lead to less business talk and more soapy drama.

I wonder if this will open the door for the twins to return. I really thought we would see the daughter when lily was taking care of her when Daniel cheated on her.

Kind of a let down on the big reveal for viewers like me who have no idea who Cane is aside from the fact he is Lily’s ex and her kids’ father.

Okay, I am caught up except for today's episode (in the U.S.), and no current storyline has my attention.

Watching the cryfest between Tessa and Mariah: Yuck.
Watching the silliness between Kyle and Audra: Yuck.
Watching Phyllis act like Phyllis: Yuck.
Watching "Cane's" return [seriously? no Aussie accent?]: Z-z-z-z-z-z-z.

I keep hearing Roz from the Monster's Inc Laugh factory, looking over her glasses and declaring "You're boring me"

Cain and Lily - for a couple who were once deeply in love, had their marriage end badly and are currently co-parenting, I have seen more spark, intimacy, love/hate, passion from the stack of apples in my grocery store.

Cain, looking forlornly at Lilly and saying that he still loves her with no emotion or feeling. I have been more worked up over a plate of tacos - and not even the good tacos from the place one town over.

At least cast someone sexy so if they can't act, at least I can look at them.

ITA. Other soaps are turning it out for the summer. I'm not sure why Y&R is such a boring mess. Are the writers trying to get it cancelled?
