Decorating doors?

Last time I was at wdw I noticed a lot of people decorating their doors (or windows, I was at POP.)

Do people do this in the DVC areas as well? Magnets on the doors or anything?

We almost always decorate our doors and balconys especially at halloween. We have lights and door hangers and we have a great ghost for the fan on the balcony. Old Key West is the very best for decorating as their balcony is large and very easy to decorate. Also most all the windows can be seen when passing by in the car or by bus.
If you want to see some great decorations head over to Ft. Wilderness. Those camplers really know how to decorate.

We have only done this on the cruise... Magnet on the door with our Disname with a VB background.

We saw lots of decorations at WL the week of Christmas/New Years. Other than that, I've never seen decorated balconies or doors at any DVC.

We docorate for Halloween and Christmas. I just ordered a door poster for our Halloween trip. I have lights for the balcony too.

We are bringing lights for our balcony. Should I bring an extension cord or something? (We're staying at BCV.)

Also, would love to decorate the doors. Can someone help me out with what supplies to bring? Tape, magnets (are the doors metal?), etc. I have seen the fish extenders for DCL, but wasn't sure if there is anything to hang them from at the villas. Any help is appreciated. TIA!

Bring non-stick tape, the kind that does not leave behind marks.
