Decorating bands with temp. tattoos

I saw this online. Has anyone did this. The instructions said to apply the tattoo, then a clear coat of nail polish. Just wondering how it turned out, did it last or wear off. I just don't want to ruin my band.

Any other tips to decorate, welcome

I used a rubbery base coat, then the tattoos, then top coat. The top coat cracked a little but held up our entire trip.

Yes, but I paint my bands with nail polish first (sparkly but not glittered), so the tattoos show up better. Otherwise I find they blend with the band color and don't show up well in most cases.
