Hi everyone. I've looked everywhere else online, and can't find any ideas. I need real people. I'm freaking out because all my in-laws are coming for dinner on Dec. 23 to see our new apartement. I'm in the middle of doing the dining room, and small problem, I have one wall that has a cut-out window between the kitchen and dining room, with a small shelf, and it's right in the middle of the wall on the dining room side. The window isn't the problem, it's how to decorate that wall. 
The only thing I have planned for it so far, is putting a small desk my dad refinished for me, under the window to act as a, I guess you'd call it a "sideboard" for putting food on. The dining room itself is fairly simple. I'm keeping it in the beige/white/rose colour scheme, with a sort of contemporary feel. The wall itself is Mocha mauve. Sort of hot chocolate coloured. Has anyone had something like this in their place? Any ideas on what to do would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
