Decorate window/door at resort

I have heard of people decorating their window or door in their room. I am looking for some ideas on how you have decorated yours!

We are going at Halloween time. I thought it would be easy to find some Disney Halloween window clings and something for the door but I have had zero luck!

Also curious if anyone knows if there are rules about how to hang things, etc. I assume just tape on windows? I wouldn't use tacks or anything on walls to leave a hole or mark afterward. That was why I had hoped to find window clings...they'd stick easy and come off easy!

So any ideas and tips are greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi, they don't want you to use tape...we only did it once and we used suction cups on the window. We also used some yarn and strung brightly colored Mickey ears (like garland). Some people come up with some amazing ideas. After a long day in the park and dragging your feet back to the room it's a great way to spot your room easily and makes your space your own. Have fun planning!

I don't have any ideas for, but we had our window decorated for us one time. We were staying at All Star Movies. Our room was was toward the end of the building so we always walked to it from one direction.

My son was seven and really into Star Wars at that time. We had bought some of those packs of minis of Star Wars characters. We came back one day and I didn't see some of the minis. It didn't make sense that the people cleaning our room would steal something that cheap, but I couldn't find them anywhere.

A couple of days later I walked past our room for some reason and the figures were in the window outside of the curtains. I felt foolish.

They don't want you using tape on the windows or doors. Clings work on windows. The doors are metal, so anything that's magnetic works for them. ( maybe you can get door ideas on the cruise forum?)

Just a note, though, that deluxe resorts do not allow either window or door decorating. Not sure about DVC policy.
