Decline CP after Accepting?

I was recently accepted into the college program as a lifeguard and while I am beyond thrilled that I got it, I am also applying for two animal internships. However, the animal internships will notify everyone of their choices on May 1st.

Considering I have to accept/decline the CP invitation in a few weeks (definitely not May), does anyone know if I can accept the CP invitation and then decline it if I do get into the internships?

Yeah I mean they can't force you to come. I ha someone who had to cancel due to financial reasons. She even called a few weeks later and said she could actually go now and she was given her spot back. Probably a very rare occurrence but the point is yes you can cancel before you checkin. You lose some money though. Like 1 or 2 hundred? Not sure if the registration fee went up. Verify with a recruiter that it will not be reflected in future hirings.

It's up to 304.50 I'm assuming now. (They added 200 dollars for your first 2 weeks rent.)
