Deck chairs on Deck 4

Okay, guys. After reading all about the wonderful blue cushioned deck chairs on Deck 4 (and telling dh about them!) we were unable to find them on the Wonder. Are they only on the Magic?

They must be, because I didn't see them on the Wonder last year either and thought that was strange.

Can any recent Wonder cruisers confirm?

Wow, I wonder why they would have them on one ship and not the other. Does not make sense. I can't remember if they had them on the Wonder back in 99 when I sailed.

I haven't seen them on my three previous cruises on the Wonder latest was Sept of '01), but I did enjoy them on the Magic in January of '02.

Very comfortable and seem to have just the right geometry built into them.

They would be a welcome addition to the Wonder.

I'm gonna guess, that because the Wonder has a shorter cruise time, less days at sea to just lounge around, they thought they might not be used. I know that it was the days at sea on the Magic that it was so hard to find an empty one during the day. However, we really enjoyed going out there in the evenings and sitting in the quiet. Are there NO chairs out there? I know we will miss them.

I am new to the boards & have loved reading all these posts. Having never sailed on the magic before. Where on deck 4 are these comfy chairs?

Welcome to the DIS boards!!!

The chairs are located all around Deck 4 on the Magic. My DW planted herself in one during a sea day and I was afraid that I wasn't going to get her to move from that spot until disembarkation.

Oh man, I love those chairs... they are deceptively comfortable. I loved finding one as far fore as I could, because the wake against the side of the ship sounded just like waves breaking. Sooooooo relaxing.....

Who needs a stateroom?? Just book me one of those comfy chairs!!

When we sailed the Wonder in 2000 I know there were no deck 4 chairs. But they are a welcome spot on Magic.

It was funny, on Sunday afternoon it seemed there were plenty of them available because everyone was sunning on Deck 10.

Then on Monday you could hardly find a free chair because a lot of people had gotten sunburned the day before and were sitting in the shade on deck 4.

Thanks for all the replys. I will certainly try them out on our May cruise. Also Thanks Jody for the secret aft on Deck 7 spot. My DW & I will definitely check that out too.
