Deck 2

Need info on Deck 2 - is it noisy and have you stayed in 2122, 2124 or 2126. Any info would be appreciated.

PAW, I and DW have stayed on Deck 2 three times and in November will be the 4th time. We have had no problems with noise. It's pretty quiet at night on that deck.

all are good aft port staterooms...conveniently close to elevators, which poses no noise threat...I'd say you could do alot worse

Thanks for such a quick response. Were you in the Aft area? I don't know whether the back of the ship is noiser.

We just went this past February and stayed in 2122 and 2124 (connecting). They were perfect rooms! Literally right off the aft elevators, which made it very convenient for running up to Topsiders or the drink station. We never heard any noise from the elevators or docking. My parents were in 2600 (other side of the ship) and they had horrendous noise from docking!

We rebooked onboard for next year and got 2122/2124 again!

We just booked for a Sept. cruise and were assigned room 2607 ~ Do you think we should try to get moved since it is noisy from docking?

We are booked in 2610 - on the 9/10/05 sailing and we were told by many people that this is a great area to be in as it is very quiet. The people who wrote the PassPorter Guide to DCL also stayed in this room and were extremely happy with how quiet it was.

We stayed in 2126 this past January! We loved the location, it's so close to the elevators or just a couple of flights of stairs away from a couple resturants, shutters, etc. This room is located across the hallway from the luggage room...don't know if you would consider that a good or bad thing...I know we didn't mind it, because it was easy to get our luggage once we boarded, and easy to put our luggage out for disembarkment.
