Deck 1 Magic....Noise?

We are booked on the August 28 Magic. My parents will be along with us. We have 2 Cat 10 rooms. What is the noise level like? My husband and I are just glad we are on ship, but I am concerned my parents will find a problem with the noise (resulting in a bad vacation experience). All responses appreciated. Thanks.....

My son was in a cabin on deck 1 a few years ago and he said he never heard noise there.

I noticed you said you're booked on the August 28th Magic. So are we! We have a thread going, over on the "Cruise Meets" board, for all of us who are going on this cruise. We were in cabins 1069 & 1067 during on the 2/7 eastern. The only noise we heard was a grinding sound that happened sporodically and only lasted about 20 secs. It didn't wake me up during the night, but you did hear it maybe 6 times a day - the little bit we were in the room to change clothes.....not sure what it was. Other then that - there was very little traffic because it is such a short hall
