I have already booked for the 5 of us to stay in the DCR for 5 nights/6 days in October, and it looks like I am to get some money from an equal pay claim at work, so my hubby said what about staying at the pink hotel if I get enough.

My dilemma is, is it worth it, I have been trying to weigh up all the pro's and cons and just don't know what to do.

The Pro's in staying in the pink hotel are:
Not having to Drive to the park and back each day.
Not having to take enough breakfast for 5 mornings so more room in the car for pressies for me lol.
As 2 of the kids are 5 and 6 if they get tired it will not take long to get back to the hotel room.

The only con I can think of is the price.

Oh what to do.

What would you all do!!!!

We are staying in the pink palace this time. The advice I was given when I asked a similar question was as long as you can pay for it without making yourselves short then go for it

Have you priced it up and is it on a 40% offer?

I'd say if you've always wanted to stay there and it's within your budget then go on, treat yourself. We treated ourselves to a stay there for my 50th last year and it was everything I'd always dreamed it would be BUT that will probably be the only time I'll ever stay there!

I've just thought of another pro to add to your list - your children's ages, Stay there now while your children are young enough for you to all go in a family room!

Yes I have looked at the 40% offer the only problem is that my solicitor will not get the settlement figure until the end of April so I am looking at probably May or June for the payment.

So I am working on full price without any special offer, so if there is one in May/June then it will be even better.
