OK. I admit it. I can't make a decision. Please help. I would like a hotel that is close to DTD as possible but we need a refrigerator (so maybe a suite?). Don't want to spend more than $80.00 a night and would love to have a complimentary breakfast. There are no children on this trip, just me and DH. What are your recommendations? I was thinking of Sierra Suites but I don't think they are within walking distance. Thanks to everyone who has answered my posts. Maybe I will make a decision before we leave - 9/10.

you can rent a studio (sun-thurs) for around $80 a night at OKW - you can walk to DD and you get WDW transportation

a studio has a under-the-counter refrigerator and a mircowave oven - 4 glasses, 2 mugs, at least 4 paper plates and bowl - plastic knives, yorks and spoons - toaster, coffee maker and can opener.

does not have a free breakfast. It also does not have room service.

the rental board is on this site just go to DVC rental/trade - sometimes you can find a deal and paid even less than $10 a point.

you can also probably find the other DVC resorts - BCV, VWL or BWV - but you say you wanted something close to DD and OKW is and it is definitely the cheapest to rent.

An OKW studio or a DTD hotel (Doubletree?) would be about the only possibilities offering a fridge within walking distance of DTD. Everything else will require a car. Neither of these will offer free breakfast.

I don't see when you are traveling. If you're not staying over a weekend and it will be during a slower time of year, the OKW studio may rent for close to $80 in points from a DVC member. But weekends are much higher.

If you don't mind driving to Disney, there are a lot more options which would include breakfast in your price range. Hampton Inns, Amerisuites, Homewood Suites, HIFS and many others offer breakfast. But you'd need a car.
