Decisions..Decisions...Ohana/Boma/WC

On the day we go to AK, I want to leave the park reasonably early and go to a more out-of-the-way place for dinner than I'd normally go to.

We've been to Ohana and my 14 year old dd LOVED it. I honestly don't know whether I liked it or not because I missed the entire meal due to being in the bathroom *4* times during the meal with my ds. Grrr.

This time, I'm trying to decide whether to try Ohana again, or to go to Boma. My first instinct is Boma, but now I'm second-guesing myself.

What are your thoughts?

I only chose Boma because you've been to Ohana already and Boma goes along with the theme for the day. (WC is more of a country/western theme.)

My vote goes to Boma....on our AK day we are having dinner at Boma's

Boma. Much better food than at WCC.

We've been to all 3 and the kids agree Boma is our 1st choice. WCC and Ohana are tied for 2nd. They loved the refillable milkshakes at WCC and the chicken wings at Ohana.

although i LOVE Ohana, it seems to make sense to try Boma since you'll be relatively close by. Ohana is so awesome, but so isn't Boma. Talk about a buffet!

We've only been to one of the three you list and that was Whispering Canyon Cafe. I would without even eating at the other two suggest one of them over WCC (I'd pick anything but H&V over WCC).

I'd choose Boma since you've already tried Ohana. IMO WCC is not worth the hype.

Anything BUT WCC! We have preferred 'Ohana over Boma, but are giving Boma another try this trip. It's a great way to end your AK day.

How do your kids feel about it? Whenever I'm really torn, and DH doesn't want to be the decider, we leave it up to the kids so they have some say, too.

We love both Boma and 'Ohana, but I voted for 'Ohana because you are leaving AK relatively early. Who wants to hang around to go to dinner.

Better to head over to the Poly and maybe even jump on the monorail and visit the other monorail resorts. After dinner you can catch the Electric Water Pageant and watch Wishes from the beach.

I picked Ohana because we are in the minority and do not like Boma, but Ohana is a must-do every trip. We like WCC, too, the food is good, but it is nothing special.

....now my real choice (and what we will be doing on our AK day) is Sanaa.

My vote is for Boma...I love Ohana but since you have been there already and you haven't been to Boma I would definitely try Boma. Especially bc you will be right at AK. It will make for a very nice "AK" themed day too.

We did Boma after our AK day a couple of years ago. We loved it and will someday get around go to going again!

I also voted Boma. I love 'Ohana but last time I went Boma was one of the best meals of the trip.. in fact I regret not making two reservations for this restaurant for my upcoming trip!
