Okay we stayed at SOG in Jan. this year.....very nice....very easy to walk to Poly for the Monorail....rooms were huge. BUT....we miss the whole WDW theme as the other resorts have.........but then again we weren't in the rooms long....but really had no desire to be there much other than sleeping and showering. We are a family of 5 ....kids ages 14, 11 and 6. WE are going back in Nov. but the kids want to stay at a themed Disney Resort..so I was thinking getting two rooms at POP....well if I don't get a discount code...this could cost 200 bucks a night for two rooms..VS. 106 a night WITH NO TAX...at SOG. So now to decided where to stay. I have read a lot about how fun POP Is.....so maybe we will just stay there. We are planning for about 5-6 nights the week of Thanksgiving (yes we know it will be crowded...went same time in 2002) NOW...........we also have 4 days left on our 10 day no exp. park hopper Magic Your way tickets.........so I can't decide on booking a vacation...with tickets and dining and saving leftover days for another trip.........or doing everything sep. Are the packages cheaper than breaking it all down. I would love insight into what to do. Of course my husband loved THE POLY WHEN WE STAYED THERE IN 98......but we got that due to overflow when we had ressies with SOG back then. I think that would be a long shot and they would probably put us in the North wing at Contemp. if I waited to see if SOG filled up. Contemp. wasn't bad....easy to catch the monorail and walk to MK but the rooms ARE UGLY. LOL
