So I have to make a decision... Not sure what to do.... We are cruising in some fashion in September 2010. The kids (12 and 5) are on fall break, and we are celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary - so we are locked to a week (sort of...) - September 18th. Anyway, we were just given a huge gift from my mom for our vacation planning, and we now have 2 options... HELP!!
Option 1) 4 day Bahamas on the Wonder (booked this past September on board the Magic) and total of 4 days at WDW at the Grand Floridian. Kids fall break is completely used up, we all come home tired and tan.
Option 2)
See if we can change the cruise to a 14 day Trans Atlantic Westbound, and bring the Magivc Home. Not sure if they will grant the on board discounts and OBC, but if they do we can swing it and still have excursion money, etc. This option has us pulling our kids out of school for the extra week, but it would be a very cool 18th anniversary!
I know... Go with the 14 day... but I worry that the kids won't handle the 8 days at sea very well... On the other hand, if they do hubby and I get some time to ourselves...
What would you do?
