Deciding water/theme park schedule

Hi there! Trying to decide if it is worth going to TL, BB & the new Volcano Bay all in one trip. We will be visiting also AK & possibly MK. Kids are 10,8 & 4. We will be staying for 9 nights at AKL&Poly split stay and travelling early Sept. Older kids are fairly good swimmers, younger one is learning.

Do you think it is worth doing all 3 waterparks? (obviously experiences for volcano bay will not available as it's not open yet). We have never been to any water parks at Disney before. A bit conscious of it becoming monotonous after 3 of them.

Ignore this if you already know it, but Volcano Bay is at Universal, not Disney. Those tickets will have nothing to do with your WDW tickets, just FYI. So that's something to consider.

We used to go to both TL and BB in one trip, but lately we've just been doing TL. We prefer that one.

I don't know anything about Volcano Bay, never heard of it (if it's Universal, that's why...only been there once and hated it). As for BB and TL, yes, I would absolutely visit them both. They are themed very differently and while they do have some similar slides, they have enough different things to make it worth it.

I haven't been to the water park at Universal but we do Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach all the time. They are must dos for us. We typically schedule water park days in between our Theme Park days and then head to Epcot for dinner after we clean up from our day at the water parks. Many times we don't even actually do any of the attractions at the water parks. On our most recent trip I brought some coloring books and colored pencils and sat under the umbrella we rented and just relaxed and colored. I actually took a nap. It was glorious.
