Well, after reading for months the pros and cons of towncars, I have decided to reserved Fl Tours. I do have a hesitation though because the last 2 times we went to the World we were left at the airport and no towncar. One was from a company that is no longer is service and the other one is one that is recommended from this board. Both times we called for over an hour and either they would not answer the phone or it was busy. Both times we ended up taking the Mears shuttle to the hotel. At least Mears shuttle is there and reliable. So, I am going to give this a shot once more. I suppose I am wanting reassurance from others that have used Fl tours lately. :D

I agree, it is hard to decide. every time I think I have chosen a service, I read a bad report!! for me, it's between FL Tours and Happy Limo, the latter because they are recommended at mousesavers, the former because they sponsor the DIS. but BOTH have had their share of complaints. The service we used last year I can't even mention here because their behavior on the DIS boards has been bad, so Iwillnot use them, but they were fine.

Good luck!

We used FL Tours this past November for our party of 8. I would definitely use them again. We did have a couple of issues with them but they were prompt and courteous.

Here are the issues:

I requested 2 carseats for my sons. They only came with 1. My 4 yo had to be seat buckled which I was very hesitant about. The car seat they did have was very dirty and part of it was broken.

On our return trip they showed up with a limo instead of the luxury van originally requested. Now this may seem great but with our party of 8, double stroller, and all the luggage, we were were a little squashed in.

Still, the most important thing to us was that we were picked up and dropped off promptly and efficiently. Those issues would not defer me from this company and we will use them again in the future.

I would agree that Mears is a great alternative. I've used them in the past and have no complaints.

There is another post on this board about FL Tours. Did you see the comments on that one?

Personally, I had an excellent experience with the company and will definitely use their services again.

Thanks to everyone for the reassurances. I have read all the posts and replys from the last couple of months about towncars. I have decided on Fl Tours. I realize everyone has a bad day driving every now and then. I would not want to be driving in Orlando traffic (that is why I don't rent a car). My biggest fear is being left at the airport again or worse yet, waiting at the hotel to be picked up. I will reserve Fl tours and see what happens. Thanks again for all the feedback .:D

I am also in the same "car" so to speak. I also have decided on Fl tours because they are a Dis sponser. If it were up yo me I would rent a car but DH wants to be at WDW without one this year. Good luck to both of us!!
