Decided on CSR !

First - I want to say thank you for everyone that helped me when I was beginning our search. We decided to go back to the CSR. I have touring plans and plan on doing a room request. We are going end of May !

It’s been 10 years since we have been there so I can’t really remember too much. I know last time our room was super close to a bus stop.. I think #4 but I will need to go back and look at my pictures to confirm. We really want something like that again. Close to a bus stop but maybe one of the first stops ? Any input would again be very much appreciated !!

So much exciting stuff going on at CSR. I'm thinking about it for our next trip ( probably Sep 2020 ). I'm especially excited about the over the water restaurant going in.

CSR is my favorite moderate resort. I find it on the quieter side when it comes to a moderate resort and the resort is simply beautiful especially when the sun is setting. I also find it very centralized when it comes to location. Very close to AK, DHS, Epcot, and the MK isn't that long of a bus ride away. Enjoy your trip!

Last April we loved being in the Casitas section near bus stop 2- the first stop for buses heading to the parks.

We loved our stay at CSR a few years ago. We would stay there again if it wasn't that we want to try a new resort every trip. We got a room in Ranchos and loved the location since we rarely went to the food court as we mostly used the pool cantina to fill our mugs and for our breakfasts. The pool is the best one we tried so far.

Thanks for the reply guys ! I’m a bit nervous because I went in to check for lower prices and apparently there are no standard rooms available anymore or preferred rooms! I wonder if that means they are sold out or could it be with construction ? We have a standard booked right now so we are covered but yikes !

It seems like Disney is pretty much always selling out, or getting close to it, throughout the year these days. And standard also sells out first. The end of May is when some schools start to get out for the summer, so that could also be why.

We are staying in a tower room this July. Is that the last pick up for buses in the resort?

I'm sure that sometime before the tower opens, a new transportation plan will be announced, but it is a bit premature for them to release that info. There will almost be a change in stops...as #4 will be moved from it's current location to closer to the new tower or not? The new tower will be the new lobby and the current lobby will just be a walk thru.....so for sure the bus stop will probably move or not..at this point, any conjecture would just be a wild guess.
