We leave the 14th
and I have read a lot or threads about the weather and what to pack. We are from the Midwest so I always hate lugging our big coats with but we have been there in December before when it was cold and you certainly needed a coat of some sort.
Today I was finishing my Christmas shopping and was at Kohls. In the boys section they had perfect jackets for WDW on a two day sale for only $12 ($11.99). They are lightweight and lined and even have at least one zipper pocket. While they were all in more masculine colors (black/red, dark blue/blue, and black/orange) I still picked up the blue one for me and the red one for my son. I'm an average size woman and the boys XL fit great with room for a sweater underneath. I liked them because they seemed the perfect weight, had a hood, there were pockets, and they weren't too bulky. If something happens to them or they get lost - no big deal as they are only $12. (Better than my son taking his beloved White Sox jacket and loosing it!)
Of course we will be packing layers and have warms socks and gloves.
