DFi and I are planing a vacation in December :santa:and wondering what the weather is like in the middle of December. Both of us have always been down there in the summer so we do not know what to expect. We are from Michigan and will be coming when it is 20 :cold:degrees here so anything above 65 will be nice.

Orlando weather in December is pretty inviting for many people who travel from cold weather areas. During early December, Orlando enjoys average temperatures in the mid-70s during the day and mid-50s at night. Of course, there will always be that occasional cold day. For the most part, however, December temperatures and dry weather is very appealing to those who look for comfortable vacation weather.

I suggest bring at least one item of clothing for each season. I went the last two years in December and had a variety of weather. I left my home in WI where it was 20 below, and arrived in FL and it was only 35 degrees. The bus driver joked with us and told us to get off the bus for bring the cold with us. That lasted two days and we actually purchased winter hats for our kids. When we were leaving seven days later it was 90 degrees in FL, and our airport was shut down, so we were "stuck" another day. :rotfl2:

The majority of the time it was in the 70's but be prepared for everything! Otherwise they always sell sweatshirts, hats, and scarves.

We've gone during early December (first 2-3 weeks) the last 3 years in a row. Weather is generally dry and moderate (70-80s) but last year was all over the map. We did finally see 80, but most days ran 60-70s and the night we did MVMCP (12/7) it dipped below 40! One word.... LAYERS :thumbsup2
