I am so excited. I get to plan a trip for 12/15 thru 12/19. :cool1: However, I have no idea how to pack for it. What is the weather like? Warm, Cool, Cold? Should I expect rain? We were there last September and I knew we would have rain but it was very warm. My DD will have just turned 5 and it will be a surprise. But I know she will want to go swimming if it warm enough. We are planning on staying at ASMovies.

Thank you for all the advise.

I can't believe it Disney and Christmas! What could be better! :yay:

Hi,

Average highs for the middle of December are in the mid 70s with morning lows in the mid 50s.

BUT...this is winter in Central Florida. Realistically you should be prepared for highs to be anywhere from the 50s to the 80s, and temperatures in the morning could be as low as the 30s. Unfortuntely there is no way of knowing what kind of weather you will have until right before you leave.

Enjoy!

We were there for Christmas 05. The days were warm, about 68-70. :sunny: However, we had a few nights that it was freezing! :cold: It was so cold we had to put socks on my DS hands and buy fleeces ourselves. Being New Englanders and used to the winter cold we were thrown off guard. Now mind you, it doesn't mean that stopped people from swimming in the POP pool at night. I learned to just wear layers. If we ever went in December again, I would at least pack warmer clothes JUST IN CASE. Its hard when during the day you have a tank top on and at night you putting on four layers of clothes. By the way-it did pour on Christmas Day too. :umbrella:

We went late Dec 05. The weather was usually t-shirts during the day and we all wore a sweatshirt most evenings. One morning we were at MK at 7 am, it was foggy and cool but warmed up rapidly. The 30th, 31st & 1/1 were very warm and humid, we didn't use jackets at night at all and being from a cool and very dry climate it was icky to me and uncomfortable during the day. All other days were great with light showers one morning. I checked the 10 day forecast up to the day of our departure and adjusted our clothing to better match the forecast. I wore capri's every day and they were a nice option over jeans or shorts.

We were there in Dec 05. The first 2 days the highs were in the 60s by the end of the week we were close to 80. Basically, it was t-shirts and jeans during the day and sweaters at night. HAVE FUN!!!!
