Not sure why they chose some months to have UY and others not, but the lack of January is linked to the fact that resorts expire on 1/31. If there were a January UY, those contracts would get points on the last year while the others wouldn't.

The closest you can get is February, but that’s not too bad!

Unless you want January to travel in January, in which case February would be the worst you could do.

I've had a December UY for almost 9 years. I still get confused!! I'm a scientist by training who has spent 20 years in data analysis and performance improvement. But there's something about the dang December UY that I STILL get confused. Luckily, I've never lost any points due to my confusion. I just have to slow down, think carefully, and plug it all into a spreadsheet.

That makes me feel better. I felt stupid asking the question.

I think it's just a coincidence.

Everything goes by UY of the trip. Forget about calendar year, especially with Dec.

A Jan 2024 trip is in your 2023 UY. You can used banked 2022, 2023 and borrow 2024 to finish the reservation.

The banked 2021 points are now part of your 2022 UY and are not eligible for the January 2024 trip as they will expire Nov 30th, 2023.

ETA: What happens when you are logged in and you click on My DVC -> My Vacation Points? What does it show for 2022, 2023, and 2024 as being available?

it shows its all available. The member services chat said to clear my cookies. That didnt work. Ill try again later I guess. lol

That is weird. I'd try calling MS and see if they can book for you.

It is Probcbly showing that you can bank 2022 or borrow 2024 if you need them.

If you don’t it should just follow through with the 2023 UY points.

If that is not showing than you need to check to see if there is an issue with your account
