Hey guys! I'm new to this board. Well, I've been reading a lot of trip reports and other threads, but this is my first time posting!
I am heading to WDW (for my 4th trip) from December 3-11 of this year and I was just wondering if any of you had been there during this first week of December? If so, how crowded are the parks? We are staying at the Fort Wilderness Campground, so I'm not too worried about the Pop Warner crowd.

Thanks in advance for your responses!!

We went the 1st week of Dec back in 2007. The crowds were moderate, but doable. We had a crowd of 17 and we had a great time!

I highly recommend subscribing to www.TourGuideMike.com. His website really helps you navigate the parks.

Enjoy planning!!

That's a great time of year to be out at WDW and actually when we're tentatively planning our next trip. Usually the week after Thanskgiving through to the Saturday of the week before Christmas (i.e. 12/18 this year) is a relatively slow time. The temps are great and the crowds are moderate on the weekends and pretty low (if you ask me) Tuesday-Thursday. It's a fantastic time of year to visit the parks because of all the holiday deocrations and stuff going on. Definitely a good plan in my opinion! :)

We went last year Nov. 29- Dec. 4. It was fabulous! The weather was sooo nice.. we wore jeans and t-shirts and even got a little warm in those some afternoons. I joined Tourguide Mike.com and read that site like it was the Bible. I truly believe it made all the difference in the world. We have a family of 6 (Mom, Dad, Kids- ages 9,7,6,4, at the time). I just went in with the attitude that there was no way we could see everything. We did our best, but there were some things that didn't even make it on the itinerary (Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor) and some that for whatever reason we couldn't make happen when we were there (Toy Story Mania). I call all of these our reasons to go back! I have most of my TR done from that trip- We're Going to Disney? But I wanna see the Alamo! You can check it out, but defintely subscribe to Tourguide Mike. It will make ALL the difference. (Our longest wait was 30 minutes- with the exception of Fantasmic, Wishes, etc)

Never been that time of year, but had to say welcome to the DIS and I love your screen name!
