This is typically when we love to go and my best tip is re: weather. While it's typically a pretty dry time of year, temps can be all over the place. Last year we saw everything from evenings in the 40s (and below!) to days around 80. Pack accordingly (light layers are good).

Luckily we drove down from NH and had gloves and coats with us. The night we went to MVMCP dipped below 40. All that free hot chocolate really came in handy! :cold:

When it comes to what to see....
If you have time, take a tour of some of the resorts. Monorail resorts are probably the easiest to do and the gingerbread house at GF is terrific. You can even buy a "shingle" as a snack.

DTD also has a great Santa and other fun holiday stuff going on.

More great holiday info HERE :santa:

Lucky you to be going in December. We have went the past four years in December and I love it. Such a nice break from going in the hot summer like we also do every year! The parks and resorts are decorated so beautifully. I don't know if we will be going this Christmas as we are going in September for the Food & Wine Festival and MNSSHP. I had my Mom and Dad over for dinner yesterday and my Dad asked if we were going this Christmas because he wants to go and see the "lights" as he calls them (he means the Osborne Lights)! We went two years ago with them and had a great time - so who knows!!
