December Tips & When R U Going Poll...

The weather at times reminds me of Early Spring or Late Fall in Pa

I'm not liking that weather forcast...I live in PA and early spring and late fall it is really really cold. I've never been to WDW in December, this will be our first time, I am hoping for decent weather, but warmer than november in PA...we get snow at that point...say it aint true!

My biggest concern is the weather at home, which is in PA. I am worried we will not get to the airport or there will be huge delays due to the weather. Once I get to Florid as long as the temps are at least above 45, I will be happy. I am actually looking forward to not being hot in the parks.

We will be there Dec 1 - 5 at Beach Club. 5 year old great nephews first trip and hoping for wam weather to enjoy Storm Along Bay one day.

We were there 6 years ago. Suggestions for Dec. - Remember to take the time to visit the resorts to see the Christmas decorations, schedule a time for CP, take your time going through the Osborne lights, check out the Christmas stories in World Showcase.

As for packing, wait as late as possible to see what the weather is projecting. If they project warm weather, throw a sweater/sweatshirt in your bags JIC. When we were there before, we wore shorts mast days and a light sweater all but one night.

Dec. 8 to the 15th and we are staying at The Wilderness Lodge. I can't wait I am already to leave the snow and cold and it hasn't even started.

We are going from Nov 25 until Dec 5th! SOOOO excited!!

I just can't figure out how to pack! Hot, cold, in between??

I say layering... it can be hit or miss, one year it was so cold we had to buy gloves and hats, and jackets... but last year it was shorts, and at night through on a weatshirt... so it just depends

usually the mornings, are cool, shorts and a longsleeve something, but when the sun gets out, peel off the layers, at night when the sun goes down and the breeze might pick up maybe capris and a light sweater...

but again it can be anything... so layeering usually works.

This poll is making me nervous. Makes me think EVERYONE decided Christmas is too busy and decided to go when we are going.

Don't worry we are dissers and we have knowlege that other people don't .

We will be there Dec. 16-22. We have a CR tower Mk view room first time with this resort and view can you tell .

This poll makes me a bit nervous, BUT, I keep in mind that Disney's busiest time of year is Christmas through New Years and if you look at the poll, those weeks have the fewest votes.

I guess alot DISers are "in the know" and go during the slower times so those weeks (first weeks in Dec.) come up the most.

What I will say is that over the years, the first and second weeks in Dec are more crowded now than they were in the earlier part of this decade. At least that has been our experience.

I'm very interested to see how this year (2nd week of December) turns out.
