December the manatees

We have been considering doing one of the swim with the Manatees on out Dec. 2010 trip. However, with the oil slick/spill spreading so rapidly we are worried that the oil will be in the rivers by December. Does any one have knowledge about the predicted path of the oil and or info on this subject.

Living in upstate NY we don't get a lot of local information on whats happening in specific areas along the golf coast.

Hi Leo,
I went to swim with the Manatees last January and it was wonderful. The "little" darlings are in the springs so the current will push any oil away. We did our tour in Crystal River at the Lodge by the same name. I think it was about $30 each for the entire thing (even wet suits)
