December roll call

I'm planning on going Dec. 22~24

I'm hoping that the 22nd will be our chance for low crowds (It being Monday and everything) BUUUT I don't really know so I'm just crossing my fingers for now...

I really don't want to be squished in between people for the fireworks or Fantasmic :headache:
Pushing and shoving and whatnot :crazy2:

:wave2:

Nope. This is our first Christmas trip to Disneyland. We just went in beginning of June, so the crowds weren't that bad. Although by the time we left, the summer crowd started to roll-in. I would think that during Christmas time it will be just as crowded as summer.

Here is a little tip: Disneyland seems to be the least crowded first thing in the morning. The park does get crowded just about after lunch. I guess there's not a lot of morning-people willing to get on the rides that early, which is great for the early-morning risers (like us).

That is what I always tell people about WDW too. Most important tip is to get there before everyone else!!! :cool1:

Will be heading down day after Thanksgiving and staying through December 6th probably driving back the night of the 6th and the 7th. My wife and 2 kids will be there the whole time. Mother-in-law joining us Monday through Saturday and possibly some friends from Phoenix there the first weekend. Staying at Carousel Inn first 2 nights and then 5 nights at GCH (theme park view) finishing off at DLH for one night. The DLR hotels courtesy of Developer points from our new DVC AKV purchase! We've never been during any holidays, and are so excited! Can't wait to spend day after day at the happiest place on earth! :santa:

As far as the drive I definitely echo others in saying thank goodness for portable DVD players! My little kids love watching Disney movies in the car! popcorn::

we will be leaving Oshkosh, WI and driving to DLR on christmas day, stopping in Golden CO, arriving at DLR on the 27th... 11 days for the park!!! my wife and boys first trip to DLR (wife has Been to WDW several times) staying at Disneyland Hotel.

We are going Dec. 6th thru the 19th. Driving form sunny AZ but might look at getting a flight. With a family of 7 driving a Yukon it might not be much cheaper to drive now that gas is so expencive. But no matter how we get there we are excited about the trip since its been 2 long years.

Checking in!
We'll be there Dec. 4th through the 11th. Staying at the Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites.
Can't wait to see the Candlelight Processional!

We live near San Francisco and have been going to Disneyland once or twice a year for about 8 years. We went this summer for 6 days and upgraded to the annual passports. Our plan was to go just a week earlier next year so we could get at least 2 trips out of it. This is the second time we have gotten the APs. Last time we were able to plan a trip for my wife's birthday right about now and got to see the Haloween decorations which was fun. Ever since seeing the holiday decorations she has had it in her mind that she must see Disneyland at Christmas.

Well to make a long story longer, like I mentioned it was my wife's birthday just yesterday. I was having a hard time deciding what to get her. I was fortunate enough to happen into a little extra money. I decided to use it to book a trip in December and surprise her with it on her Birthday. I will be taking my family on Dec. 6-9. She is a really big Disney fan so I was the hero for a day.

Staying at HoJo's in Building 2.
