December Photopass Sharing Thread

I am interested in joining a group too! My dates are Jan 2-6th although I can wait for a January thread to appear (I see others are going later than I am and still hopped on).

I would like to know the estimated cost if possible-

For a group of 6 my guess is close to $25 if you pay full price for the CD. If you get in on a special price, then less. It may be a little more or a little less.

Check out the first post in this thread. It has some info, including a link to the Sept sharing thread that has a lot more info. It is a lot of reading, but explains things very well if you can read it all. Post back here if you have questions.

This will be my 3rd photopass share and I have been a team leader 2 times already. I guess I am saying, I have experience and know how to keep it organized.

Please let me know if there is a group I can join or make a new one? We could be:
Tacomaranch, DisneyaholicRaquel, Timon D Pumba, Mom Poppins, Fireworks Fan and then add two more. With the discount rate and a party of 7 the cost is only $20 person for everything! We send out DVD since CD's take so many disks. It works easily and postage is cheap.

I hope we can start a group.

Way to go the second week in December Group!!!!

I wanted to say that I did not mean to hijack the thread but wanted to make it simple for everyone by just stating that I know how to do this, wanted to get a group together and keep it simple. I do not want to step on any toes or cause any hard feelings.

That being said, we need 2 more people in our group.

Tinksmomce, are you in a group yet? Disnea, I don't know how much you know about the photopass share but the first upload is when the 30 days start and everyone has to be finished by the end of the 30 days. If you would don't mind waiting to upload your cards, we would just love to have you in our group!!!! That would put us closed with Tinksmomce and Disnea!

I wanted to tell my group a real quick summary of photopass share.

Timing is everything. As already stated, when the first person uploads everyone in the group has to be uploaded within 30 days. Some early folks need to wait to upload and the end people really need to come home, unpack and upload. It can be done and it has yet to go wrong.

The cost is based on the amount of people. I have only worked with 7 as it is a manageable number. With 7 people the cost is $20. Again we send out DVD rather than CD's because we had 4 cd's last time! All pictures fit on one DVD and most everyone has a DVD player in their computer. IF not, I am more than happy to burn CD's.

I ask for everyone to have payment in 30 days before the first person departs. That way we are all paid and ready to go.

Once in Disney go up to the people in the tan vests and ask for a picture. They give you a little card. I keep mine is clear plastic pouch. Then from that point on, use that card when you have your pictures taken. I can't say enough to keep using the same card if at all possible!!! It makes for an easy upload. I did end up with two since at the water parks they give nice little ones on wrist straps. Again, I keep mine in a plastic pouch with my AP, etc and then have it scanned right thru. No need to take it out each time. Some rides also have photopass on them!

It is so easy and a super way to get family pictures. Take the time to get the pictures!!!! The rides will wait, get the nice pictures to remember your trip.

After I recv payment I will send you the log in and password code. I will also give you a date if you are an early person and ask all late to upload quick. Once I confirm everyone is uploaded, I order the CD's, wait about 2 weeks, they arrive, I take a few days to burn and send them out.

It is a wonderful thing to be able to share the cost and the fun. If you have any questions at all please just PM me.

Tacomaranch, if you need one more for your group please let me know. We will be there Dec. 5-15 @ POR. I did not know if you have seven yet. We have used photopass twice before but never joined a group share.

It would be great for you to join us YahDisney if you don't mind having to wait to upload.

You can still preview your pictures in any park from your card but need to wait to upload so everyone has time to get to Disney and then get home.

Just let me know. That is really how photoshare works, some people need to wait and others need to hurry.
