December park strategy - crowds

We're going to WDW Dec 15-21. Here is my question. Is it better to go to Magic Kingdom the day it is opened until midnight, Saturday, Dec 17th or on a day is only open until 6pm? Any advice is appreciated.

I would definitely avoid MK on a Saturday in Dec. Especially if it has EMH that evening. The EMH days tend to be more crowded in parks, and Saturdays in MK in December tend to be more crowded also.

Are you going to go to MVMCP while you are there? That's a great way to be in the MK until midnight with moderate to low crowds. Except for Fridays.....Friday MVMCPs are crowded.
