We're trying to decide if the 1st or 2nd week of December or the 1st or 2nd week of January or February would be the best. Could it get too cold at any of these times where a winter coat would be needed? When is it less crowded? Thanks for info, Linda

I went the week before Christmas this past year and it was quite cold at night. Well, cold for a Charlestonian. :) It was better than being hot though. The decorations are gorgeous and worth the cold weather. I couldn't enjoy Christmas decorations if it was 80 degrees anyways. Have fun!

I would pick December just for all the decorations and special things going on. I haven't been in December for almost 10 years (going back this year - hurray!), so I'm not sure about the weather and crowds. We did go in February of 2000 and found the crowds to be manageable and the weather to be quite nice - not too hot, not too cold.

Going first part of December for the decorations and special holiday shows.Have been at that time of year each year since 1992.During that time it has been very cold to hot.So we dress in layers so we can add or strip some clothing to match the weather. It is a special time to visit WDW and I think you would have a magical time. :goodvibes :thumbsup2 :sunny:
