December Hours!

Hello! Another December hours waiter here.

Keep in mind that, even DESPITE the fact that they were really late for November's hours, a thread on that subject mentioned that very often the hours are posted on Tuesdays. Not to be a downer, but maybe we won't see them until the 4th? :confused3

Either way, it's close!

OK, dumb question, but why are the hours essential in planning? What are you looking for? Because of the extra magic hours? (I've only been one time for a very short stay and was offsite, so this is pretty new to me.)

They usually come out about 60 days before, but lately it has been more like 50 days. You have to take a guess if they affect your dining choices.

I too can't wait for the December hours to come out, I agree it will make the trip seem like it is just around the corner. However I am not hopeful they will be out next week. The November hours weren't out until around the 10th so I am not really expecting them until the week after next. I really hope they will be out sooner though.

Thanks for the info. Wouldn't it make more sense to have hours (and EMH) come out 90 days before to coincide with dining reservations? Epcot closes at about the same time every day, but during off hours the closing time at the Magic Kingdom can be anywhere from 7pm until midnight! :confused3

Yes, EMH does have a lot to do with it. Some want to avoid the parks with EMH, some want to do the parks with EMH. Dining has a lot to do with it too. Let's say I make my ADR for 50's Prime Time at 4:45, but then find out the parade is at 4:30. In order not to miss the parade or have to sprint to the restaurant, I would need to change my dining reservation to a later time. Let's say Wishes is at 7:30 and I want to see it from the Poly beach after dinner at 'Ohana. If my 'Ohana reservation is at 7:00 because I thought Wishes would be at 8:30, I won't get to see it from the beach unless I change my reservation.

Maybe we are obsessive/compulsive. Maybe we need a hobby. Whatever the reason, we want those hours and we want them now! :cool1: :rotfl2: :rotfl: (Really, we just love WDW and want our vacations to be as perfect as possible!)

I'm doing the waiting game for the Dec hours, too. I espically want to know if there is going to be an evening EMH the night we arrive (dec 4th), so we could get in some park time that night. :Pinkbounc

You mean you have time for another hobby, tjmouse? :)

I to am waiting for DEC hours even though all my plans are made just need to know EMH for some things. Also will make the dream of knowing my vacation is much closer.

Yes, that *would* make sense. Why WDW doesn't agree is a mystery to a lot of us. :confused3

I called to book the Fantasmic dinner package yesterday and was given a reservation for 4:50. I asked what time Fantasmic was on the date I was making the reservation for and the CM said that that information isn't released until the first of the month. When I tried to pin her down to an exact date she said, "the first".

Waiting for December hours too so I can re-plan my trip for the 100th time. :rolleyes1  :goodvibes

Me too!!! Me too!!! I have already made my ADR's, etc., but I just want to make sure I planned it right this time. If not, back to the drawing board!!!

I can't believe it is almost here!!!!!

I had a big "D'Oh" moment yesterday...I put my countdown on my regular calendar hanging in my cubicle - it was 90 days yesterday. So, of course, I called to make ressies - but didn't notice it was 90 days until we LEFT town not 90 days when we would be in the parks. I had a very nice CM - she tried to help me with Candlelight Processional ressies, Hoop De Doo, etc. but said I had to call back on Wednesday...

Thank you for explaining our "need" so beautifully :cheer2: . Now where are those hours? :badpc:

I'm looking forward to the hours, too! Hope they come out tomorrow!! :hourglass

Has anybody ever looked up intercot.com for historical hours of last year? I kind of went by that information as far as Wishes and Illuminatons go. I know that doesn't mean it's going to be the same , but it did kind of give me a little clue for this year. Now I'll just have to wait and see what kind of changes WDW DOES... make SO...I can make my changes!!! :rotfl2:
PS If I was a little more computer savvy, I would have somehow downloaded the intercot.com site. Sorry! I don't know how to do it! :flower:
