December Hours!

Did they have evening extra magic hours in the second half of December last year - does anyone know?

Looking at December for MK, the earliest public closing (when there is not the Xmas party) is 9 p.m. So if they have them, the evening extra magic hours are until midnight? That doesn't work so well with kids........and the week from the 25th to the 1st, it closes at midnight every night. No evening extra magic hours that week?

We were at WDW Easter week. MK was open 8am-midnight every day. So morning EMH, we got in at 7am and evening EMH went till 3am. They might, I suppose, do something different for Xmas week. But at Easter, that is how it worked. We did the morning one, but we couldn't stay at a park, ever, past 8pm so the evening one was not for us.

**edit: might have spoken too soon, these are not up on the WDW site yet, just here. But they make sense, and cannot be from last year because of the evening hours...?**

The EMHs for December have been released. They are posted with the hours on this board (look at the top in the notices). No big surprises (whew, my plans are intact!)

Are the EMH shown on this site just projected because Disney has not released the official days.

I hope these dates are wrong because it appears that the AK & DS will not have a EMH in the evening for the entire length of our trip which is 9 days.

We were counting on DS having evening EMH on Sunday 12/25

I called WDW to change something on my reservations. Whilst there, I asked if they knew when EMH's were on Dec 7th, and they told me that MK EMHs are on Dec 7th from 8pm-11pm, with Spectromagic Parade at 7 pm and Wishes Fireworks at 8.

Also, Epcot on Dec 6th Fireworks are at 9:30 pm, hours for Epcot being 9am-9:30pm.

I hope this helps some out. I don't know any other dates. These are the only dates I asked for. So maybe you can verify the other postings of EMH with this.

EMH are now posted on the Disney site. I still have a question though. I'm going during Pop Warner week, and I'm pretty sure I've read before that the Pop Warner group gets MGM to themselves one night. The MGM hours for that week are consistently 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. that week with evening magic hour on 12/4 and morning magic hour on 12/6.

So, do you guys think the hours will change if/when they decide on the PW/MGM night or will the Pop Warner time at MGM just be after 8 p.m. one night?

Im soooo upset that from the 19th till xmas mgm closes so early- do u think that they will extend them once they see how crowded it is then!!
