December hours???

Anyone care to speculate when December hours will be out??? It's been a little over a year since my last trip but if I remember correctly, it's normally two months out, right???

We're going in Dec for our first trip. I too am awaiting the publication of December hours. I think they should publish hours at 90 days out, since people start making PS's 90 days out. It made our planning a little risky.

I would expect them out in the next week or so. They usually come out around 60 days. Remember they are not set in stone, they often make changes even after they are posted on disney.com, especially MK.

Then just look to the left of the page for December 2001 and 2000 as well.

Generally, December park hours are:

MK 9:00a - 6:00p or 7:00p depending on MVMCP, and 8:00p on Saturdays.
AK 9:00a - 5:00p
MGM 9:00a - 7:00p with Fantasmic at 6:00p
Epcot FW = 9:00a - 7:00p and WS = 11:00a to 9:30p

The hours, of course, increase around December 20 for Xmas!

I was told by a Dining CM yesterday that they will get the December hours loaded into their computers when September ends. -HM

Last year, the first week of December MK Stayed open till 10pm and they ran a second Spectro parade.

WOW!! I've never seen MK open till 10:00p the beginning of December on Saturday or any other day!! Only Christmas week!

Or at least confusing my Sept trip with Dec...

So I got the "World Update" flyer out for Dec 1-15, 2002 (Of course I still have it... in perfect condition ), and yes... MK was open till 10P on the first 2 Saturdays last Dec. They did Spectro at 7P & 9P and FITS at 8P:
So I guess I'm not crazy... just a Disney Nut

If I remember correctly... the "unofficial" Disney sites last year had said it would close at 8pm... You know WDW... Everything is subject to change

My cat just went nuts in here and knocked the broadband cable out of my pc. The good news is... while I restarted I looked over the World Update and noticed something else. The second Saturday last Dec (the 14th) MGM closed at 7:30 and they ran Fantasmic! twice... 6P and 7:30P

Now I want to go through all of my Dis stuff from last Christmas

I didn't mean to make you think you were crazy!! I've just never been that lucky!!!

That's actually GREAT to hear! We'll be there this December. Can't wait to see if they do that for us!

So this means those "historic" hour websites are only showing what Disney's website showed but not what actually was true down in WDW.

Last year was the first time in a few years we didn't go in December as we wanted to check out MNSSHP!!

When I was booking the MK fireworks cruise, the CM said they should be out the first week of October.
