December free dining or what?

Has anyone heard anything about free dining coming around for this December yet? I thought they typically put those promos out in June or early July... I am really hoping for it!

Last year, it was released during the first week of July. In previous years, it's been released in mid-August. I was really hoping that they would release free dining for October before school starts again, but I'm not very confident that will happen.

4 or 5 weeks before another offer comes along per some phone calls to CMs.

It's not clear that it will be free dining, either. We all have to wait and see.

There was a pincode that a few have received and reported here giving free QS in the last few weeks; so, we may have hope.

I am off to search through all of my emails to hope for a pin code that has been hidden in all of my junk mail!

Just got off the phone with disney, CM, she told me that no pins codes are out yet, and to keep an eye out for the specials on the site, and to call as soon as I see one. So no one will tell you anything, going in December and need to know soon, or will have to change a few things, asked if I wanted to book dining.

I have all of my meals lined up. I called today and the agent just laughed, he said more then likely they should be announcing something shortly. We are going in October and hoping they add it soon!!!!!!!

I sure wish they'd say when "shortly" is! Does Disney generally announce discounts on certain days of the week, like only Tuesdays or something like that? We sat down yesterday and did some mock days of eating at Disney using online menus and found out free dining would be so helpful!!

Okay, The Dis just posted this rumor to their homepage and to their Facebook page, they must know something or have some reason for thinking these dates are real or they would NOT have posted this info . . . . .

Rumor - free Dining Plan to be released August 3rd

A rumor has begun circulating that Disney will offer a free Dining Plan for select dates. According to the rumor, bookings beginning August 3rd, 2011 will be eligible for the free Dining Plan for the following travel dates:



October 2, 2011 - October 8, 2011

October 23, 2011 - November 5, 2011

November 13, 2011 - November 19, 2011

November 27, 2011 - December 3, 2011

December 11, 2011 - December 17
