December Exercise Challenge - Move a little faster so Jack Frost doesn't nip you!!

910 min so far in Dec!

I'm doing so well I need to change my goal! My previous goal for Dec was 1000 min, but I'm going to push it up to 1500! :yay:

That puts me at 910/1500 for Dec! :cheer2:

I am so very happy with my hip surgery recovery. The repaired hip feels great and so do the muscles that were cut through or moved in doing the surgery. Now it's the other hip that is sometimes a problem! :earseek: I know it will have to be done too, but not yet! I want to enjoy getting back to enjoying life again for a while before I have any more surgery. :teeth:

I'm at 885/1400

Thanks Rose. I really am very happy with my progress.
doing my PT has made a big difference.

I am currently at 1160/1500 min for this month. Yes, Julie, I did change my goal! Sorry to cause any confusion!

12/19- 45 min bike
12/20- 65 min interval run

400/1000.

Okay so maybe i wont make 100, but it's my first month trying this:lmao:
And I have a 12 miler this weekend.. so at least 2 hours worth there. we'll see.

I started exercising and trying to eat healthier again this fall. After 4 kids and rushing around all the time I just gained too many lbs and developed soem basd habits. So far I've manage to cut out soda and fast food (huge) and have lost 8 lbs. I still don't get enough exercise but hopefully can focus on that more as I get a little lighter. 22 more lb:goodvibess to go!

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and managed to stay on plan with exercise & food. I've done well with exercise - not so much with food! :earseek: Did you know that brownies taste good for breakfast! :scared1: Good thing I'm at least keeping up with the exercise. There weren't that many brownies, and they are gone but it will take some extra work on my part to burn them off!

I am currently at 1490/1500 min for Dec. :cheer2: My hour of PT tomorrow should put me over goal and I still have a few days left to work off those brownies! :teeth:

You're doing a fantastic job with the exercise!

Would you believe I ate 3 pieces of chocolate chip cheesecake today - starting at breakfast?! :scared1: I made fudge for Christmas, too, and I ate quite a lot of it. It's a good thing I have kept up with my workouts! I'll do better with the diet beginning Jan. 1. :teeth:

Since tomorrow is the last day of the month (and year), it would be nice if this thread were updated, not to mention the November thread!

Great job!!!!

I ended this month at 1404/1400! I made my goal every month but September this year. I'm cutting myself some slack on that one. I grossly underestimated how long it would take to recover from the half I ran at the beginning of the month!:goodvibes

I just found this board and this thread.. I love this idea. I am definitely in for January!!

December closed down. Off to January!
