It's so wonderful that the little girl in your class was speaking

and so sad that normal circumstances prevent that for her.


Educated has such a history of over correction - we went so far to include students who could be and hadn't been that now we're including students who are directly hurting other students. It's too much.

Social Saturday ~~~

Inspired by a pancake breakfast we went to for one of the lodges,

what holiday social events are you attending this year?

 

[Summer2018]

I was invited to three events, but I am attending none. I am just not feeling it this year.

I was invited to a charity gala that took place last night, and I am so glad I didn’t go. It was freezing out and I was exhausted. I declined the school party because I don’t like the venue. I said, “no” to another event because I just don’t have the social battery for small talk.

I used to be a party girl. I am a lot more selective now. It needs to be the right people at the right time in the right place with the best food and drinks for me to dress up and go out at night.
