December Cruisers?

I'll be on the Dec. 6th Western along with 3 other friends all in our 30's but kids at heart.

we are on the x-mas magic 12-20/12-27. Me 42, DH 45. DD19, DD13. we are driving from VA on the 18th.

My family is booked for our first cruise ever. We are on the 4-day Wonder that leaves on Xmas Eve. We have a 2BR BWV for the 3 nights prior to that. Driving from VA to get there.

FINALLY, convinced somebody to go with us!!! I've been wanting to take DD on her 1st cruise (my 1st DCL), but no one in my family wanted to go with us! Everybody had an excuse ~ DH & my mom will fly, but not cruise; my dad will cruise, but not fly; wouldn't think of asking my in-laws & my brother will cruise, but doesn't do Disney (imagine that!).
After much cajoling, my brother agreed to go with us for DD's 6th birthday! We can't wait!! I haven't been on a cruise since '95. I know there's no comparision to DCL. Any hints are appreciated!
