We have been on two cruises (May/June). We have never cruised during the winter months. I have booked a three-day for December 18 since we will be spending the following week at our timeshare in Kissimmee. Can anyone tell me what its like to cruise that time of year.

The Dec. 1 Wonder last year had perfect weather...it was a little chilly at port, it was in the 60's but it was in the 80's at sea. The ship all decorated in Christmas attire is awsome.

We sailed that week this past December and it was very cold at disney - 32 one morning and cold at port but perfect weather at Castaway Cay and Nassau. The only complaint was the water was pretty cold at Castaway Cay.

We did the land sea package about that same time in December 2001. The four days at the parks before the cruise were perfect and the weather on the ship was great. Castaway was wonderful but the water was a little cool. We are from Iowa so the water still felt pretty good to us. We pulled the beach chairs up to the edge of the water and soaked up the sun. It was wonderful. Lampskies is correct the ship is beautiful with all the Christmas decorations.

We're on the 6 Dec Western - I've heard the ship is decorated by then, but does anyone know what other activities go on that are Christmas-related? Are Minnie and Mickey "dressed" for the holidays?
