December crowds

How bad are they? We will be arriving late on the 15th (no park time that night) and leaving sometime on the 22nd. I tried checking some crowd calendars, but there is a lot of variation. We spent the last week of December at Disney a few years ago and didn't have too much trouble, but we have never spent more than one day at Universal before.

Up until Christmas Day the crowds aren't too bad...I would say 4-6 on the crowd scale. Holiday Hell Week begins 12/25 but you'll be out of there by then. I love Universal in December...beautiful weather and manageable crowds along with the decorations.
