December brides doing MK photo shoot

To the December brides who did the MK photo shoot, did they have the Christmas lights on the castle on during the shoot? The castle looks so gorgeous with them on, so I was hoping they did. TIA!

I don't think they turn the lights on for the shoot.

I had my MK shoot last Saturday. They do not turn on the lights. The photographer stated only one bride had the lights in her pictures, and this was due to the workers testing the lights. I was bummed that the lights were not on.

Well that bride must have been me because we had the lights on for our MK Bridal Shoot. Our wedding was November 10 and we did our shoot on November 11 and the lights were turned on. We were so happy. I know they were doing testing (our photographer said this) - also I think they were practicing for a show because he said the Voices of Liberty were there also doing a test. I know the bride that had her photos done on our wedding day (November 10) did not have the lights on.

I will post a few pictues once I get them loaded on my computer.

This maybe a silly question, but can we request for the lights to be on? Do they do the MK Shoot after hours when the park is closed? That way the lights would already be on. The whole point of doing a MK Shoot during December would be the castle lit up in lights!

I agree! That was part of the reason we decided to do a Christmas wedding

The shoots are early in the morning (before the parks open). On our day there was a 5:00am and a 6:00am. We would have liked to have the 6:00 shoot but it was already booked so we took 5:00. I don't think you can request to have the lights on or off.

I am the bride who had her shoot on the 10th of November and no lights for me. Super Jelous of Linda's! We were told they will not put the lights on that they are only allowed to use the normal lighting.

Great Pictures Linda! Do you have your prints yet? Did you buy the CD?

Thanks everyone for their kind words about our MK shoot. These photos were actually taken with our own camera. I had brought our camera along thinking maybe we could use it and our photographer let us. He took about 6 pictures using our camera. I have gotten my pictures from Disney and they all came out wonderful. We did not purchase the CD so I do not have the rights to them but as the ones posted were taken with my camera I am fine with just having a few that I can make copies of.

Lisa, have you gotten your photos yet and can you post some?
