We are going in December for the first time in a very long time. In fact, I don't remember the last time we went in December, but I know it was the last year of Jolly Holidays. This is going to be a trip for me and my mom, but I'm always the planner. Anyway, is there anything missing from my list of holiday themed activities? We are going to go to the candlelight processional and we are debating MVMCP. That's all I know about. I know the Osborne Lights ended, but I wasn't sure if there was something replacing it at HS or if AK had anything beyond the holiday themed parade.

Another activity would be to look at the decorations and/or gingerbread houses at the resorts. We did that prior to our MVMCP and rode the monorail to see the GF and Contemporary.

Disney Springs was also decorated quite nicely.

hopping on board this train....we are going this December (10-18) too!! We've never been a that time....and I don't really know what to expect. I'm hoping to get some tips & suggestions too! :)

We will be there then too.

Sadly, the parade at AK has been gone for a number of years now.

Boo. I just looked it up and Jammin Jungle Parade/Jingle Jungle Parade ended in 2014. That was one of the few parades I liked. Jammin Jungle, SpectroMagic, Boo to You and the Aladdin parade in the 90s at MGM. Those are my all time favorite parades.

We should do this. We always check out our own resorts decorations, but rarely the other resorts. We went for many years in January (before we discovreed MNSSHP, and started going in the fall to attend it three years ago), and we'd always get there with a few days left of decorations.

We are also going December 10-16th!

We enjoyed decorating our rooms window with Christmas lights! Plus it helped to pick out our room when walking back to it late at night.

We've done the Christmas party before but don't plan to do it again.

I got great family photos at the different resorts due to such beautiful decorations.

Be prepared for any kind of weather. We went for two weeks and were in shorts and tanks for the first week then it went to 32 degrees one night and we were not prepared. We will be this time!!

Take in those castle lights. They'll blow your mind when you see them in person!
