December at the ASR's

Hello,
I need to make reservations at one of the ASR's for December and want to know if anyone has any thoughts on the best strategy. Will I get a better rate for the weekend around the 15th with DC, AP, or just calling CRO for a promotional rate?

Any thoughts?
