December ADRs have been made. Yahoo! Need some "honest" dining reviews.

Boma is terrific, great service, great food. I can't rave enough about it. We have done breakfast and dinner and both were meals that we still talk about.

We have eaten at Rose and Crown twice. The first time it was fantastic but this past time we both agreed that we wouldn't be going back for a while. The service was great but the food was lacking.

Hope this helps some :)

UPDATE:
I canceled the Rose and Crown Pub ADR.

:rotfl: With all the "raving" reviews, I honestly couldn't waste money there. Epcot has so many other great eateries. No replacement ADR just yet. We may wing it. ;)

You've got some great reservations Jennifer!

I think that Les Chefs De France is outstanding for Lunch. I'm a fan of both the Roasted Chicken as well as the Short Ribs.

I love the Jiko dinner as well. I'm glad they still have the filet w/mac and cheese. It is incredible!

Have a great trip!

Jason

:wave2: Hi Jason!

 Do you think Jiko is appropriate for children? We usually do one childless meal while at WDW and that has been reserved for bluezoo. :woohoo:

We have wanted to eat at Les Chefs de France for awhile now. It finally fit into the itinerary and I was able to snag an ADR. I lived in Europe and have been to France numerous times. I know the menu was created by three famous French chefs (Paul Bocuse, Gaston Lenôtre, and Roger Vergé). I can't wait! :yay:

:thumbsup2 I've added Kona Cafe (breakfast) to our ADRs.
DH has read so many rave reviews on Tonga Toast. I hope it lives up to the hype. :wizard:

:thumbsup2 I've added Tokyo Dining (dinner) to our ADRs.
The ADR time is about 40 minutes before IllumiNations. Hopefully, we are sat in the front room to get a view of IllumiNations. :wizard:

:thumbsup2 I've added Chef Mickey (breakfast) to our ADRs.
It just won't feel like a Christmas-time trip to WDW without our annual chaotic breakfast with Mickey and the Gang. ;)

:surfweb: I have to admit, we browse the menu section of this site to make sure there are items on the menu we will eat. Sometimes, we already know what we're ordering before we step foot inside the restaurant. DH was horrified to find out they didn't serve the steak and mac & cheese anymore at Jiko. We have heard so many great things about it. How could they take it off the menu?!?!?!?! We found this hard to believe. So, DH actually called Jiko and they confirmed it IS still on the menu. Phew!

:goodvibes Jennifer

You scared me!! We were there less than a month ago and it was still on the menu. If they ever took it off the menu I would personally go down there and chain myself to the front podium until they brought it back! What site were you looking at where it did not show it?

Glad you confirmed it's still there. It is their signature dish so I would be shocked and mortified if they ever took it off!

Edit: Nevermind I see it was wdwinfo that had the discrepency. I am sending them an e-mail to let them know it was omitted. I don't want anyone to have a heart attack if they don't see it on the menu! :)

Yak & Yeti is one of our family favourites! The food is fabulous. The Lettuce Cup appetizer is amazing.

I need some reviews on the following restaurants:

Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner) not worth going to with no characters...just an "OK" turkey dinner meal (but no menu choices, it's a set-plate family style meal served to you) We went when it was still a character meal, and just barely thought it was worth the price then. With no characters, wouldn't waste my money there.
Kona Cafe (breakfast) LOVE it...Big Kahuna breakfast platter all the way! Though hubby likes the steak & eggs (real steak, not minute steak.)Three of us split one order of Tonga toast and could not finish it...sickeningly sweet and whole-hot-slimy-bananas in the middle were GROSS! I know they have a lot of fans, but be prepared for very, very sweet taste. Much prefer the macadamia nut pancakes with pineapple topping that come on the Big Kahuna platter.
Les Chefs de France (lunch) Like it a lot...profiteroles for desserts, yum! Fun to see Remy if you're there in early evening.
Biergarten (dinner) Food is good, entertainment is fun. Didn't care for the communal seating (we got horrible table-mates...a 3some who were appalled that we were drinking beer in a "beer garden", and an elderly couple who thought we were going to steal their food/utensils/beverages. We're a middle-class pair of reasonable 50 yr. olds, lol. No tatts, no odd clothes, etc.)We do know people who had great fun sitting with strangers there, so it's just luck of the draw on your tablemates.)
Yak & Yeti (dinner) Loved it...wonderful decor in there, good Asian food. Love the ribs, love the steak, love the fried cream cheese wontons dessert
Jiko (dinner) haven't been here
Boma (breakfast) LOVE IT! Best.Breakfast.On.Property...bar none.
Sanaa (lunch) had dinner here...food was good, but spicy. Animal viewing is great if you're there when they are being fed. Great decor, great service. Cool resort.
Via Napoli (dinner) haven't been here yet...has had mixed reviews. Sounds like they are not flexible on the pizzas - if you like the kind they have on the menu you're good to go but not like Pizza Hut where you choose your own toppings. Will report back after mid-September (having lunch there)
Todd English's bluezoo (dinner)
(This will be a childless dinner! :woohoo:) can't help you on this one either, haven't been

The good, bad and ugly. Thank you in advance! :flower3:

Hope that helps!
