Common guys chat to me!! I am so blooming excited for the Disney Cruise.

As I said before I am happy to organise the FE list etc. What do you think?!

It's fine I am happy to leave it to you. It was just initially you had said you hadn't wanted to organise it, so i volunteered. Organising is totally up my street so was looking forward to it. But you seem to have it covered

I had been giving it some thought and reading lots of other boards. I think an extra useful bit of info from people would be where they are from. I know you can go through profiles etc but that's quite time consuming and easier if already in a spreadsheet. I think it could prove useful for people. For example I was thinking of gifting something English; but there would be no point to a fellow Brit so I would give them something different.

It also seems that some other FE groups are a bit restrictive e.g who to gift to, how many cabins, gift value. I personally think this takes a lot of the fun and spirit out of it. So think it should be up to the individual cabins to decide what they want to do. Not sure what your thoughts are?

Thats a good idea for where everyone is from i will add it to the list. With the number of cabins you have is something i think everyone needs to decide on as having too many cabins makes it hard as you have to pack the things in your luggage as i was thinking along the lines of you as to gift aussie stuff as well. I will add you into the conversation now that you have 10 posts. There are still a few people that have expressed interest that i cannot add to the conversation

I just don't think it should be restrictive and set in stone like some FE groups appear to be.

At the point of knowing how many people want to participate the easiest thing to do would be to ask whether people want for example a max is 10 cabins, 20 cabins or all cabins. That way people can decide and then you can hold different lists to determine who wants to do what. This has been successfully done by a number of groups it just takes a bit more organising on your end.

Hi! It is our first ever cruise and we are new to the whole FE thing too We too are surprising our children. They don't even know we are going to Florida yet.

For the FE you just need to provide your cabin number, the names of each person in your cabin, the ages of any children, any characters you each like and where you are travelling from.

In terms of FE gift it is entirely up to you to decide whether you would like to do a cabin gift or whether you want to individually gift people within the cabin. You can choose to buy your gifts. Or make them it's entirely up to you.

So far there is 3 families on the list x

Just booked this cruise as a Christmas gift for my daughters and nephews. It will be the first Disney Cruise for my nephews and my sister. Really looking forward to this trip!

This is our 5th Disney cruise. I would prefer a longer one, but our kids are having to miss 2 days just for this trip. In our cabin will be me, dh, dd 14 at the time, and dd 10 at the time. My mom and sister will be in another cabin, this will be my moms 2nd Disney cruise and my sisters first. My sister will be 38 at the time of sailing and is the most excited. My brother and his wife are also coming along with 2 of my nephews (11 & 16), this will be their first Disney cruise. We are all excited about seeing the Christmas decorations. I think we may also join in on the FE.

Have you booked a cabin category which has the cabin number assigned later?

I think if we sort the cabins into groups of 10 cabins and then if people would like to sign up to be in more than one group then that is absolutely fine, just let me know.

For the list please can you include any characters that people in the cabins like and also where you are travelling from as some people may like to give gifts from their area for example i will be doing some English gifts, but there wouldn't be any point to another brit

Hi guys, I am Emma and from the UK. I initially volunteered to run this FE for our upcoming cruise on the Disney Dream December 9th 2016

Quite a few people have shown an interest and a list has been started. This group has been quite quiet so for now I have taken over managing the list (Bluesub feel free to PM me and we can join forces if you wish to)

Info and guidelines: let's make this experience fun. Each group will be kept to 10 families. After the 11th family wants to join, the second group will be made. (and more as needed, keeping all groups at 10 cabins). If you want to take on more than 10 families, you can always join the second group, just let me know. As for gifting guidelines, that is up to each cabin. You can make cabin gifts or individual gifts, or both, completely your choice. When you want to deliver will also be up to each cabin. But please deliver before dinner the last day so everyone can pack up.

If for any reason you choose not to participate but have signed up, please do let know as soon as possible. This is a really fun thing to do but it would be a shame for others to miss out if you choose at the last minute to take part
