Welcome Betty! Glad to see you have found us. How fun to surprise your son at the port. We almost did that with my husband's daughter...but ended up telling her the morning of the cruise before we left the house. She was 13 so we knew she would probably want to pack some of her own things as well. But it's always fun to have a last minute surprise!

This is our first time doing a FE. I've found this site (first time in DIS boards), too. What is the next step? Is there a Facebook group to join? How do I learn who I am buying for, etc.? Thanks so very much for your help!

Hey! Are you already signed up for the FE? The document link was posted in an earlier post. Email me if you would like to join or want info on our FE. The groups have closed if you have not already signed up; however there is a pixie dust group for the last minute additions. You would give/receive from that group. I will probably sign-up for it (although my FE gifts are turning out to be different for each group I am joining! LOL).

Just booked!! DH wasn't sure if he could take off from work....so we had to wait until the last minute. It will just be DH and I....my mother-in-law is coming to watch the kids. This is our first vacation without the kids in 12 years.....although I am already feeling guilty!

Would love to join a last minute FE group if anyone has room for us! I am a crafter....and have a whole room full of ideas already in progress! Was hoping to be able to book earlier to join a group, but it didn't work out that way.

DISboard rules now prohibit advertising or even mentioning links to outside sources on FE or cruise pages. However, there was one posted well over a year ago on the first page of this thread of you go back and find it. Most groups are closed but there may be a last minute group. Yes. People plan their FE gifts far more than a week in advance. I've been doing mine since July.
